Day 40 - 4.10.08

No, seriously. Get out. Since I'm feeling better today than  have been for a few days, I thought I'd use my energy to post a list of things I WON'T miss once I leave the hospital.

1. Blue ultrasound goo.

2. Blue ultrasound goo being smeared all over my belly three times a day.

3. Picking dried blue ultrasound goo off my belly numerous times a day.

4. Being strapped to monitors via tight elastic bands in their "happy" pink and blue colors three times a day - the little elastic bitches.

5. Two words: Hospital Food. UGH. I can't even bear the thought of it today.

6. The view of the brick building that I can see from my vantage point lying in bed.

7. Using strategically-placed pillows to prop up my belly whenever I need to lay down.

8. The hospital pillows I have to use to prop up my belly - they are more like balloons than pillows. I have no idea what the plastic covered effers are filled with, but it has to be some space age gas or helium that makes one end pop up uncomfortably when you lay your head on them.

9. The unsteady bedside table with one short leg that causes my chapstick to roll off ALL the time and under the bed, forcing me to ask someone else to retrieve it for me.

10. WHAT??? No DVR on the TV??? How in da hail am I supposed to catch up on my shows when I'm napping 12 timesa day?!!!!!
